Our episode on the fight against mass incarceration in Maryland was awarded “2025 Creative Challenge Champion” by the National English Honor Society. We synthesized audio from speeches by Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, and Hillary Clinton along with an interview with Public Defender of Maryland Natasha Dartigue to examine the history of mass incarceration in Maryland.
